PRAY TO THE WRONG GOD

WAH…what a 不知道要哭还是笑的一天
I really can’t recall when is the last time I’ve been as ‘sway’ as today!!! (or maybe I’ve never been that sway before). And it all happened within TWO and a HALF hour!!
CABS AND BUSES
It’s kinda of a habit that my lunch kakis and I will go beyond Bedok for lunch on Friday.
So today it’s not an exception. Initially we have decided to take a cab down to Ikea Tampines for lunch, but we waited for like 15 mins still no available cab. So we decided to change plan, take a bus go Astons Specialties for lunch. While waiting for bus at the bus stop, saw 2 groups that just walk out of the company managed to get a cab each..ARGH!!!!..纳闷..Zzzz…4 out of 6 buses actually can bring us to the place we want to go but 偏偏 the 2 buses that we can’t take came first. Waited for the next 5-10 mins before we finally board a bus, halfway the journey I think it’s the aircon, began making funny noise as though the bus going to break down soon..the lucky thing is it din..phew~
FOOD
Reached AstonsSpecialties, waitress asked if we are willing to wait for 15 mins as there’s a power failure in the kitchen. We said ok we’ll wait. So we chatted and waited for 20 mins, still no food, so started to ask the manager when the food going to be ready. He went to the kitchen to check, came back to us and apologize saying we’ll have to wait for another 25 mins!!! But he say if we’ll like to cancel the order we can, the drinks will be on house, so of course we cancelled our order. Left the shop, walked to Kim Choo thinking of buying their Soon Kueh,.the Auntie say they’re still steaming the Soon Kueh, ask if we willing to wait for 10 mins, we say ok we’ll come back later. Continue to walk on. Till we came to a shop selling chicken rice, decided to just settle down with chicken rice. The shop was not well-ventilated, the clothes and the hair started to trap the 油烟味..and we later realize the aircon had broke down..-_-..after the meal, went back to Kim Choo to pick up our Soon Kueh, but the Kueh is still on the way..dot..waited 5 mins..kueh still not here so we decide to forget about the soon kueh and take the cab back. Flagged the cab, cab stopped we took the cab..the Soon Kueh arrived too..arghh..就这样跟 Soon Kueh差身而过.
IN THE CAB
Uncle drive like 30km/h..Zzzz…The lane that he took is like always the 1 with the most cars and traffic lights. Uncle so funny, ask him to turn left stop us at the carpark, he turn left continue to drive straight when it’s obviously the deadend liao. He went on to drive till the deadend and ask..ehh deadend ley..DOT so funny lor..we came out of the cab..laugh until cannot make it.(laugh not just because of the cab driver but also at how unlucky we are).
THE CONCLUSION
One of the lunch kaki went off early today, in the office it’s like still sunny, but the moment she left the office..started to thunder and soon rain..it’s so drama I tell u..so we suspect she’s actually the one bringing us all the ‘SWAYNESS’.
And for the remaining of the day, everything else goes pretty smoothly for me..PHEW~
